Marathonbet preview the weekend’s fixtures

Marathonbet customers taking advantage of our generous 5/1 offer on Middlesbrough to beat Leeds will have a bit more wonga to play with this weekend. This weekend, we’re also giving away a free £20 matched bet to new customers.

Boro had no problem dispatching Leeds 3-0 at The Riverside to clock their fifth straight win on the bounce and now sit pretty in second just one point off Brighton at the top of the Championship.

Aitor Karanka has got his side firing and they’re 47/25 to beat Reading at the Madjeski tomorrow with Marathonbet. But Boro haven’t beaten the Royals away since October 3 2009 – almost six years ago to the day. Both teams to score and the game to finish a draw looks a good shout at 37/10 while Reading to put a stop to the Middlesbrough steam train and beat them outright is 41/25.

However If you reckon the likes of Fabbrini, Nugent and Stuani can keep finding the net – they’ve 14 goals between them this campaign – Boro are a more than generous 33/20 to claim all three points. Elsewhere, Boro have seen over 2.5 goals scored in four of their last five league fixtures. They’re 77/20 to win with over 2.5 total goals scored in the match.

To League One and Burton’s three game winning streak came to an end against Sheffield United on Tuesday – the latter now finding some form after a trio of games without a win.

The league leaders could only grab a point against the Blades and host Southend at the Pirelli Stadium tomorrow. Burton are in form, no doubt, but look short in the market at 11/10 to win outright considering Southend have won their last three. Burton backers can find solace in the fact Southend haven’t beaten them in the last four attempts, but the draw looks likely here at 49/20.

And finally in League Two a huge clash of the early-season promotion contenders comes in the form of Accrington and Oxford United. Stanley have lost once all season and look in fine fettle but for some reason are as big as 2/1 with Marathonbet to win outright! Oxford are sixth in the table – two places behind Accrington – but look far too short to back at 6/4. In reality the game will probably be very tight but the prices don’t reflect that. Both sides are expected to remain unchanged from their midweek fixtures so Accrington Stanley to win or draw looks like the bet of the weekend at 14/25.

If you fancy backing any of these tips and hundreds more markets across a range of sports across the globe, new Marathonbet customers are being given a free £20 matched bet. Click here for more details – http://vip.marathonbet.co.uk/mb20.
