Mansfield Town pulled off the only upset of Sunday’s FA Cup action as Nigel Clough’s side shocked Championship outfit Sheffield United with a 4-3 victory to progress to the fourth round.
The League One Stags were leading the Blades 4-1 at one point, after a superb double from Louis Reed against his former side was followed by goals from Lucas Akins and Rhys Oates.
Chris Wilder’s men pulled it back to 4-3 to set up a nervy finish for the visitors, but they held on for the victory.
Elsewhere, Portsmouth took a shock lead against Premier League leaders Arsenal before falling to a 4-1 defeat and Derby County suffered the same fate against Leeds United.
Here is the full round-up of Sunday’s FA Cup third round action.

Sheffield United 3-4 Mansfield Town
Mansfield delivered a stunning 4-3 victory against Sheffield United in the FA Cup to secure their place in tonight’s fourth round draw.
United keeper Adam Davies stood no chance when a corner was cleared only as far as Reed, who brought the ball down and found the net with a superb strike to give Mansfield the lead.
The home side responded quickly as Gus Hamer beat Liam Roberts in the Mansfield goal with an equally impressive shot from just outside the ‘D’ for an equaliser.
The Stags regained the lead, however, when Reed scored again with another fine shot following a corner which beat Davies with the aid of a deflection.
It was then 3-1 to Mansfield when Oates broke free down the right, advanced to the byline and pulled the ball back to Akins, who fired into the net.
The impressive Oates added a fourth goal, flicking the ball past Ben Mee before advancing towards goal and shooting confidently past Davies.
Substitute Patrick Bamford pulled a goal back, stabbing in from close range after the ball was headed into his path following a corner.
The arrears were further reduced when Nathan Moriah-Welsh, attempting to clear an Andre Brooks cross, saw the ball go into his own net off the underside of the bar.
The hosts had a penalty appeal waved away late on when Bamford went down under a challenge inside the area.

Portsmouth 1-4 Arsenal
Championship strugglers Portsmouth provided an early scare for Arsenal before being thrashed 4-1 to exit the FA Cup at the third round stage.
Fired-up Pompey fans created a raucous atmosphere from the first whistle and were rewarded with a shock early opener.
Following good work from Harvey Blair down the left, Conor Chaplin’s initial effort was only parried by Gunners goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, leaving Pompey striker Colby Bishop to slam home on the rebound and claim his first goal since August.
Portsmouth – a point above the Championship relegation zone – had not beaten Arsenal in the previous 22 meetings between the clubs, dating back to 1958, and were pegged back in scrappy fashion five minutes later.
Eberechi Eze’s corner from the left caused confusion in the hosts’ box and Andre Dozzell diverted the ball into his own net under pressure from Christian Norgaard.
Arsenal again showed their potency from set-pieces when Gabriel Martinelli rose to head in Noni Madueke’s corner from the right, although replays suggested a goal kick should have been awarded.
Their profligacy persisted. After going down under a challenge from former Gunners youth player Zak Swanson, Madueke fired wide from the penalty spot following a stuttering run-up.
Martinelli doubled his tally by sliding in at the back post to turn home Gabriel Jesus’ low cross, and the two-time FA Cup winners’ resistance was broken again when Arsenal capitalised on yet another corner, Martinelli completing his hat-trick by heading through the hands of Pompey keeper Josef Bursik from another Madueke delivery.

Derby County 1-3 Leeds United
Derby County were pegged back and eventually beaten 3-1 by Leeds in the third round of the FA Cup.
The visitors had plenty of chances to take the lead in the first half as the Rams rode their luck, but after Joel Piroe saw his penalty saved, the home side immediately took full advantage as Ben Brereton Diaz planted a low finish into the bottom corner after the ball fell kindly for him inside the box.
Leeds turned the game on its head after the break. Piroe’s clever dummy allowed Willy Gnonto to smash home the equaliser, before Ao Tanaka pounced on a rebound to put Daniel Farke’s side ahead.
James Justin sealed the tie in added time with a third as Leeds eased through, ending Derby’s hopes of an FA Cup upset in this latest chapter of a long-running rivalry.
Norwich City 5-1 Walsall
Jovon Makama led the way with a hat-trick as Championship strugglers Norwich City cruised into the fourth round of the FA Cup with a dominant 5-1 win over Walsall at Carrow Road.
Matej Jurasek smashed home from just inside the box for the opener and from then on it was one-way traffic.
The Championship side doubled their advantage when Aden Flint somehow blocked Jack Stacey’s effort on the line, but the in-form Makama prodded home the rebound.
The tie was over as a contest when Makama made it 3-0 with his second of the afternoon, wriggling away from his marker to fire home on the turn.
The big striker wasted no time in grabbing a third and his 12th of the season as a fast-raiding Ben Chrisene cut the ball back into his path for a side-footed finish past the exposed Roberts.
Walsall pulled one back in spectacular fashion when substitute Courtney Clarke cut in from the left and found the top corner from 30 yards, but Norwich had the final say in stoppage time as Tony Springett latched onto a superb through-ball from fellow substitute Liam Gibbs to complete the scoring.

West Ham United 2-1 QPR
QPR pushed Premier League strugglers West Ham United all the way before seeing their FA Cup hopes ended by a 2-1 extra-time defeat at the London Stadium.
Rangers refused to roll over and deservedly hauled themselves level after Crysencio Summerville’s opener when Rayan Kolli fed Karamoko Dembele, whose cross was headed home by Richard Kone.
The Championship side defended bravely and threatened to force penalties, with skipper Jimmy Dunne producing a series of vital goal-line clearances and goalkeeper Joe Walsh in outstanding form.
However, their resistance was finally broken in extra time when Summerville spun away from Dunne and delivered a cross that substitute Taty Castellanos headed powerfully past Walsh in extra-time.
The late blow ended QPR’s hopes of a rare third-round victory, as West Ham survived a major scare to progress at the expense of spirited Rangers.
Swansea City 2-2 West Bromwich Albion (AET)
West Bromwich Albion win 6-5 on penalties
West Bromwich Albion ended their run of 10 successive away defeats with a dramatic shoot-out victory over Swansea City to reach the fourth round of the FA Cup.
Eom Ji-sung fired Swansea ahead with a superb finish, only for Josh Maja to respond from a corner to restore parity.
With little between the sides in normal time, extra time followed. Jed Wallace put Albion ahead, but the Swans struck back again when Zeidane Inoussa replied to force penalties.
Ollie Bostock delivered the final word from 12 yards, sending the Baggies through as he stepped up to convert after three consecutive misses in the shoot-out to seal a 6-5 win.
Hull City 0-0 Blackburn Rovers (AET)
Hull City win 4-3 on penalties
Goalkeeper Dillon Phillips was the hero as Hull City edged past Championship rivals Blackburn Rovers 4-3 on penalties to reach the fourth round of the FA Cup after a goalless 120 minutes.
With chances scarce throughout a dour contest, the tie was decided from the spot and Phillips made the decisive contribution, saving Blackburn’s opening two penalties from Yuki Ohashi and Moussa Baradji.
Hull skipper Lewie Coyle saw his effort kept out by Balazs Toth, but Kyle Joseph, Oli McBurnie, Charlie Hughes and David Akintola all converted to send the Tigers through.
