ANDREW Hughes said getting the skipper’s armband for Preston’s FA Cup clash with Wycombe was “the proudest moment” of his time at the club to date.
The 28-year-old defender, who joined the club from Peterborough in the summer of 2018, was named Lilywhites skipper for the 4-1 defeat to the Chairboys.
He said: “It was a really proud moment for me to captain the team that day; the only downside was how the game went and the result, but it was the proudest moment of my time at the club so far. ...
