Relief for Richie as Ammies take time

NEW manager Richie Wellens started with a win as Salford needed extra-time to beat non-league Hartlepool to reach the second round.
Sub Bruno Andrade tapped in from Ian Henderson’s pass before fellow sub Mani Dieseruvwe finished off a quick break in the final seconds to send the League Two side through.
Play was halted briefly in extra time when a firework from outside the ground was launched into the stadium, landing on the pitch during a Hartlepool attack and narrowly missing players.
