IT was a disputed goal in extra-time by Sean Raggett which led to Portsmouth progressing to the send round despite a fightback by Ipswich who were 2-0 down after 13 minutes.
The home side were looking very much second best, but Jon Nolan’s goal just before the break kept them in the game at 1-2.
Town were far better in the second half and really upped the tempo with substitute James Norwood equalising with a composed finish.
But Pompey found the winner in the 111th minute to triumph.
