EAGER: Lovre Kalinic

LOVRE Kalinic says he is much improved from the player Aston Villa tried to sign three years ago.
The 28-year-old Croatian came close to joining the Midlands club in January 2016, but the move collapsed at an advanced stage.
He has been part of his country’s squads at Euro 2016 and the 2018 World Cup since then and moved to Villa earlier this month from Belgian side Gent.
