Middlesbrough boss Rob Edwards admitted he had to make sweeping half-time changes to help find an extra spark in order to claim a point against Wrexham.
It finally worked when Hayden Hackney found the net with ten minutes left to cancel out Josh Windass’ fourth goal of the season.
Edwards believes introducing subs Luke Ayling, Sam Silvera, Tommy Conway and Alan Browne at the start of the second half had the desired effect.
