Coventry City supporters were elated to keep Milan van Ewijk at the CBS Arena beyond deadline day.

Since joining from Heerenveen for £3.4m in 2023, the Dutchman, who turns 25 tomorrow, has developed into one of the Championship’s most dynamic right-backs, and was widely expected to secure a big-money move this summer.
