ADAM Armstrong spent two-and-a-half seasons in the Premier League with Southampton and scored just six goals.
That time in the top-flight bookended a prolific campaign in the Championship with Saints.
Now Armstrong, who turns 28 tomorrow, is on loan at West Brom and back in the second tier.
Does that mean he isn’t good enough to play at the highest level? Is he a Dwight Gayle or a Matej Vydra, who were prolific in the Championship but could never quite replicate that form in the Premier League?
