BRISTOL Rovers boss Matt Taylor is taking a leave of absence due to a family emergency.
The 42-year-old was in the dugout for Tuesday night’s 2-0 defeat to Blackpool but has now stepped down indefinitely.
A club statement said: “Bristol Rovers can confirm that first-team manager Matt Taylor is to take a leave of absence due to an ongoing family emergency.
“The club asks that the privacy of Matt and his family is respected during this time.”
