COLBY Bishop has expressed his delight at making an emotional goalscoring return for Portsmouth following open heart surgery this summer.
The 28-year-old made his first appearance of the season off the bench in last week’s 3-1 home win against Preston and scored the clinching penalty to make it a special day for everyone of a Pompey persuasion at Fratton Park.
“It’s been a really tough couple of months and I’m really grateful to be back playing,” Bishop told BBC Radio Solent.
