I get where the Leeds manager is coming from. I only used it a few times but it was always a case of ‘needs must’. It wasn’t something I’d ever have done selectively, and that’s clearly the case at Leeds with both Ethan Ampadu and Ilia Gruev suffering long-term injuries.
