LIKE everyone in football, we were shocked and saddened to learn of the death of George Baldock in midweek.
The fact there have been so many genuine words and tributes paid to him ever since is a mark of how popular he was in the game.
The former MK Dons and Sheffield United defender made his mark as a player, but, more importantly, was the kind of person who people warmed to. He will be sadly missed. RIP George.
