Foxes in the cup hunt!

They say you need a bit of luck in the FA Cup – and Leicester boss Enzo Maresca admitted they enjoyed a slice of it against Birmingham.

Tony Mowbray’s side spurned a number of first half chances before the Championship leaders scored three unanswered goals in the second period to become the first EFL side into the fifth round.

Jamie Vardy, Yunus Akgun and Dennis Praet netted for the Foxes.

Boss Maresca said: “We were lucky in the first half, they had many chances. The second half was much better, we controlled the game and made some tactical adjustments.”

Leeds and Plymouth will have to go again after a 1-1 draw, but Ipswich were victims of a giant-killing as they crashed out 2-1 at home against inspired National League South side Maidstone.
