SAMSON INJURY BLOW FOR U’S

COLCHESTER United have suffered a major blow with the news that teenage striker Samson Tovide has been ruled out for ‘two to three months’.
The 19-year-old tore his ankle ligaments in a challenge with Crawley’s Dion Conroy in last week’s 2-1 home defeat for the U’s.
He has netted five goals this season and penned a new deal with the U’s in the summer. A club statement said: “Should everything progress as planned, rehab for Tovide’s injury will put him in line for a return to action in February/March ...
