On-song West Brom gave another indication that they mean to play a major part in the Championship promotion race by brushing aside Hull City.
Carlos Corberan’s men – who lie fifth – made it three wins on the spin with a 3-1 victory courtesy of goals from Jed Wallace, Matt Phillips and Semi Ajayi.

“The important thing for me is creating chances and scoring goals,” said Corberan. “Our second half was much better, more aggressive and showed a lot of personality.”
Meanwhile, new QPR boss Marti Cifuentes kicked off his reign with a 1-1 draw at fellow strugglers Rotherham.
Ilias Chair gave the Hoops the lead, but Georgie Kelly levelled for the Millers.
