ROOKIE Hartlepool United boss Graeme Lee says Middlesbrough legend Tony Mowbray is his managerial idol.
Mowbray, 58, made 348 appearances for Boro and was the Teessiders’ manager when Lee terminated an 18- year playing career to join the club’s coaching staff in 2012.
And while their time together was brief - Mowbray was sacked in October 2013 - it left a lasting impression.
