MILLWALL were heading for relegation from Division Two, but their youngsters were about to embark on the journey of their lives to lift the FA Youth Cup.
For the first time in their history, the Lions would win the most prestigious youth competition in the country, breaking the stranglehold of Crystal Palace.
The Eagles had won the previous two FA Youth Cups with the squad dubbed the ‘Team of the Eighties’, but Millwall assembled a squad to change all that.
