CAMBRIDGE UNITED went from languishing in the Fourth Division to within 90 minutes of the Premier League under John Beck with a direct but successful style of play.
But when Roy McFarland took over from Tommy Taylor, he set about sweeping the winds of change through the Abbey Stadium.
