NO NEED FOR EFL TO BE OFF-LINE

BACK in early April, it was announced that goal-line technology would be introduced across the board in the Championship this season.
So you can imagine our surprise when it was announced that it would not be in operation at the midweek matches between Barnsley and Nottingham Forest, Birmingham and Bolton and Millwall and Ipswich.
The reason? The floodlighting in and around the goal area is not strong enough.
The EFL says that it believes the issue will be resolved in the coming weeks. But shouldn’t this have been sorted out before the season started?
