Stoke City’s fading Championship campaign was reinvigorated last weekend by an excellent brace from enigmatic winger Million Manhoef.

The 24-year-old Dutchman bent a delightful finish beyond Watford’s Egil Selvik to open the scoring before volleying a thunderous second with his weaker right foot as the Potters ran out comfortable 3-1 winners.
“I thought that was one of his best performances,” said Stoke boss Mark Robins. “I was umming and ahhing when I was picking the team but Milly was never in doubt.
“He’s done exceptionally well today with those two goals.”
