A month ago, most Norwich City fans would have said that Anis Ben Slimane had no future at Carrow Road.

Too inconsistent. Too injury-prone. Sloppy in possession. Liam Manning, whose disastrous 17-game reign came to an end in November, evidently agreed.
Even before suffering a quad problem in late September, Slimane had played just eight minutes of first-team football under the former Bristol City boss and failed to make a single Championship squad.
