ALLY ROBERTSON arrived from arch-rivals West Bromwich Albion around the same time as a raw young striker called Steve Bull, who had no idea of the impact he was about to make.
Wolves, one of the most famous names in the game, had dropped alarmingly through the divisions and were close to rock bottom when Graham Turner plundered the Baggies.
He paid £65,000 for Bull and Andy Thompson soon after Robertson had made the switch and, over the next three seasons, they were to win the Third and Fourth Division titles.
