ADAM believes now is the perfect time to put down roots after signing for AFC on a three-and-a-half year deal.

The highly-rated 22-year-old was on loan with the Cherries in 2010-11 and has also had spells with , Torquay, MK , , Milwall and .

And with chances few and far between at Tottenham and Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe a firm admirer he admits it didn’t take long to make up his mind over the move.

“It’s great to be back. My loan spell here a few years ago was successful and I’ve worked with Eddie Howe before, so it just feels right,” he said.

“This is what I need because hopefully I will get some games to improve myself and help the club move up the table.

“For a few weeks now, I’ve been hearing that things might be happening, but I’m happy to have it all finalised and I just want to get started.

“I know the club, the town and some of the lads from when I was here before, so this will be a good move for me.

“I’m 22 now and I just wanted to be settled and playing regularly. I’ve had seven loans and I was looking to stay at one club for a while. At this stage in my career, I need to have a home.”
