I agree that frustration with an awful performance got the better of quite a number of fans and it will not help the player. In my opinion he is an honest limited player who last season was here for mainly Sussex Cup and EFL trophy games and it was assumed he would go in the close season. He didnt, our summer recruitment was average at best, we sold our only proper forward and didnt replace him. But we did bring in Danny Bulman a fine midfield player still even though he is 38. He can pass, tackle and control midfield but was left on the bench on Tuesday, and that builds the frustration when fans see nobody in our midfield demanding the ball from the defence or keeper who just lump it forward to surrender possession yet again, with no positive reaction from the manager. With our lowest ever league crowd, four home defeats from five games I think our manager needs to be more worried about getting his team to excite the home fans than alienating them even more than has already been done by the poor recruitment in the summer.
