City have today announced the signing of young striker Kyle Edwards on loan until January.

The 19-year-old is a valued member of the youth set-up at the Hawthorns and has made a number of impressive performances for their Premier side.

West Brom's development phase coach spoke to Exeter's official website about the forward: “Kyle is an excellent player. He is an exciting talent with real potential. He is quick and very direct and has tight ball control.

“He has the ability to go past people and create things and I am pleased that he is going to Exeter as they have a great reputation and philosophy for playing good, attacking .”

City's assistant manager Matt Oakley added: “Kyle is another promising youngster at West Brom and we are delighted that Darren and Tony Pulis consider the right club for him to join on loan.

“He will add a real strength in depth to our squad and we are pleased to welcome Kyle to our club.”
