Trotters sign defender Beevers

have signed defender Mark Beevers on a free transfer, following the expiration of his contract at .

The 26-year-old becomes ‘s second signing as new Wanderers boss after securing the signature of winger Chris Taylor 24 hours earlier – with both players signing two-year contracts.

Beevers was part of the Millwall side that suffered defeat in last season’s play-off final, starting the match against and opening the scoring for the in a trip that would end in heartache.
