Port Vale appoint former Leeds midfielder Bruno Ribeiro as new manager

The 40-year-old has put pen to paper on a three-year deal at Vale Park.

After signing a three-year-contract, Ribeiro told Port ‘s official club website, “The club is fantastic. The people working here are fantastic too and together we can get the club to the . This is a Championship club.

“I’m very happy here, I will do my best. It is not easy now because we don’t have many players.

“We need a good squad now. We need to buy some players or take some players and we will do our best until the end of the season.”
