EFL transfer rumours: Brighton, Swansea City and Sheffield United

The English ‘s dates and fixtures have been
released and we can now confirm the key dates across the League and it’s
competitions for the 2019/20 season. As the transfer windows open in the busy
month of July, we are seeing a lot of transfer action from Brighton,
City and especially.

The have recently
made an official bid for Genk’s Sander Berge but is rumoured to be rejected by
the 21 year old. Genk value Berge at £22.5m however, it is unclear as to how
much the official bid was actually.

Although Sheffield United do
possess one ready made star in Oliver Norwood,
they are still lacking in central midfield options and
Berge would’ve been a great contribution as he is a defensively-minded
midfielder. Sure, the Blades have got a lot of attacking talent such as newly
signed Luke Freeman but they need to build on the weaker departments which is
defense.

Berge is said to be open
to any move to bigger clubs but he’d rather set his sights on a recently
promoted club. Although grateful for the offer, Berge will definitely not be
moving to the South Yorkshire side anytime soon.

Berge seems to be in the
spotlight for many clubs this summer and it seems that he’s wanted by
Brighton as well as they made an enquiry about him. No official offer has been
made yet but there could be something in the works for the 21 year old
midfielder.

Brighton could be the
“recently promoted” club that Berge is looking for and once the
make an official bid, Berge could possibly consider making a move.
Brighton has already made one signing from Genk this summer with the arrival of
captain Leandro Trossard for around £15m. This could influence Berge’s arrival
to Albion as well.

In other , the Blades
have also made an official bid of £9.5m for strikerfor Lys Mousset which has
been accepted by Bournemouth. Mousset joined Bournemouth from Le Havre in 2016
and has made 58 Premier League appearances, mostly as a substitute, scoring
three goal.

also recently rejected a bid of £15m made by
Sheffield United for striker Oli McBurnie. McBurnie scored 22 league goals last
season as Swansea finished 10th in the Sky Bet . Swansea,
meanwhile, are considering tabling a season-long loan offer to
for attacking midfielder
Kasey Palmer
.

However, the Blades have already signed Callum Robinson for a
club-record fee
 from Preston, as
well as Luke Freeman and Phil Jagielka ahead of their return to the Premier
League.
