James Horsfield signs for Scunthorpe

Scunthorpe United have announced the signing of midfielder James Horsfield from Dutch side NAC Breda.

The 22-year-old has previously played in the youth set up at Manchester City and has spent time with Doncaster Rovers.

Horsfield joined NAC on an initial loan deal from City in 2017 before making the deal permanent at the end of the season.

However, the midfielder struggled for game time at the Dutch club last year and has now put pen to paper on a two-year deal with Scunthorpe.
