COOK’S INJURY KO PAVES WAY FOR MELLON

BRADFORD have signed Michael Mellon on loan from Burnley after 15goal top-scorer Andy Cook was ruled out of the rest of the season.
Cook, 34, was injured in the 2-2 draw at Barrow on New Year’s Day and scans have now revealed an anterior cruciate ligament injury.
“It’s a sickener for us all but especially Cooky,” said Bantams manager Graham Alexander in an interview with the Bradford Telegraph & Argus.
