Joe Rothwell has made a big impact at Southampton – and the Sky Bet Championship Goal of the Month award underlines it.
The 29-year-old midfielder joined Saints on loan from fellow south coast club Bournemouth in mid-January. Boss Russell Martin knew he was getting a good player to boost his side’s promotion push, but probably wasn’t expecting the former Blackburn man to chip in with quite so many goals.
