The debate about the GOAT will always rage. Comparing players from different generations is near impossible.
Of course today’s players can do things quicker, with more effect on the ball, in better team moves... just their kit, the pitches, the balls see to that.
Pele was a genius. So too Maradona. And then there’s Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
They have similar records in many regards. Ronaldo has six more club goals than Messi; Messi has two more Ballon d’Or awards.
