The countdown is on and the transfer deadline is fast approaching.
Personally, as I’ve written about before, I don’t like two things about the transfer window scenario:
1. I believe the summer window should close when the season starts. It is unhealthy for players to remain unsettled whilst the first half a dozen or so games are played.
2. I believe the mid-season window should last no more than 7-14 days for exactly the same reason.
