Norwich City could sack Liam Manning. And it might work. But there are bigger problems at Carrow Road than the occupant of the dugout.
An embarrassing 3-1 defeat to Ipswich Town at Portman Road last Sunday intensified criticism of the manager, whose local roots are doing nothing to insulate him from terrace discontent.
Five defeats, four of them at home, have left the Canaries hovering two points above the Championship relegation zone -and Manning’s job hanging by a thread.
