Vincent Tan may care about Cardiff City – he may well be upset by relegation, share the frustration of supporters and kick every ball, as he insisted in the superficially contrite statement that followed the Bluebirds’ descent into League One.
But does it matter? I care about the fortunes of the NHS.
It doesn’t mean I’d know how to run the organisation.
Tan’s biggest problem in 15 years as the owner of Cardiff has never been a lack of interest or, for that matter, investment.
