Such was the excitement surrounding Louie Barry’s January loan to Hull City that Joe Gelhardt’s arrival from Leeds United earlier in the month was instantly forgotten.
But, as is often the way with these things, it is Gelhardt who has proved the shrewder acquisition.
Whilst Barry returned to Aston Villa for rehab on a knee injury, loanee Gelhardt had, pre-weekend, scored three goals in 11 games, including a priceless equaliser in Wednesday’s 2-1 vict...
