Plymouth Argyle's Morgan Whittaker must have known what was coming with his no-show against Burnley in midweek.
The 24-year-old winger was presumably advised not to jeopardise a big-money transfer by getting injured.
To a large extent, Whittaker deserves the stick that is coming his way.
He effectively breached his contract.
Similarly, we must remember how capricious fate can be.
