Whether he jumped or was pushed, Gary Rowett will probably reflect that he got out of Millwall at the right time.
The 49-year-old did a fabulous job at The Den, turning a club that had historically flip flopped between the second and third tiers into a battle-hardened Championship outfit capable of challenging for the play-offs.
