Chris Wilder is a fine manager who is more than capable of getting Watford into the Premier League.
But even if the Hornets’ latest lottery ticket comes up trumps, it will not solve the fundamental problem at Vicarage Road.
Whether consciously or otherwise, Watford’s players know that failure will fall at the manager’s door.
