COMING off Twitter, or should I say X, is like shutting the door on barking dogs. You open that door and it’s a deafening cacophony that drives you crazy. You shut it and it’s ‘Ah, thank God for that’.
I’ve been on and off Twitter for ten years now and if I’ve received 5,000 tweets then I’ve probably had about 20 positive ones. It’s abuse, abuse, abuse.
So I completely understand why Blackburn’s Tyrhys Dolan says his performances have improved since deleting his account and swearing off social media.
