I’ve heard a few pundits say that Kolo Toure is a brave appointment as manager of Wigan Athletic. 
Maybe, but you can’t knock the former Arsenal and Man City defender’s apprenticeship in management. The places he’s been and the people he’s worked for are top quality.

I’m not talking about the managers he played for. What I mean is that he’s worked for the Ivorian FA, then under Brendan Rodgers in various roles at Celtic and Leicester. He’s coached good players, in successful teams.
