OZ LAPS UP THE APPLAUSE

WALSALL midfielder Erhun Oztumer is delighted to have earned the respect of his fellow professionals after being named in the PFA’s League One Team of the Year.
The diminutive 25-yearold has been in sparkling form in his first season with the Saddlers. His 14 goals before yesterday at Coventry is comfortably the best tally of his career.
Oztumer said: “I have worked hard to try to be the best I can. “It’s a great feeling that players all over the country have picked you. The staff and the players have all been great as well, I’m really happy.”
