NO MANAGER wants to see their players on the sidelines but Uwe Rosler believes recent injuries could actually end up benefitting Fleetwood’s promotion push.
The Cod Army went on a remarkable 18-match unbeaten streak earlier in the campaign to launch themselves into automatic promotion contention, but had won just one of their last four games before facing Swindon yesterday.
They have been without captain Nathan Pond and strikers Devante Cole and Wes Burns through injury in recent weeks and had slipped six points behind second-place Bolton.
