Jordan Rhodes was forever being reminded of the things he couldn’t do. Beat a man, hold the ball up, run in behind.
“It’s all pretty true if I’m brutally honest,” laughs the 35-year-old, now working as loans manager at Blackburn Rovers after hanging up his boots last month.
What he could do - better than almost anyone - is find the net.
Over the course of his 17-year career, Rhodes scored 220 league goals in 596 games.
