Mustapaha Carayol’s career has been nomadic. From Swindon through Torquay, Kettering, Middlesbrough, Leeds, Forest, Cyprus, Turkey and now Burton to mention a few.
But home for him is Peckham and in particular where ten-year-old Nigerian schoolboy Damilola Taylor was killed.
In November 2000, Damiloa was walking from Peckham Library to home, but he never got there. He died ten days before his 11th birthday and brothers Ricky and Danny Preddie were convicted of his manslaughter.
