Team-mates: Mansfield goalkeeper Brian Jensen

Best mate at the club?

Scott Shearer. We have a good relationship and we're always joking around, but when it comes down to the training it's very serious – we do work hard. It's the old goalkeepers' union, which is still going strong!

Biggest laugh?

There are quite a few jokers at the club, like Scott Shearer and Lee Collins, and we like to take the mick out of Jack Thomas. It's not that bad because he's local and the fans' favourite! He's just coming back from injury now, which is good.

Worst dressed?

James Baxendale comes into training with some awful gear, but the captain, Lee Collins, is bad too. It's not often you see cuffed jeans, the ones with the elastic at the bottom, and a tank top at the same time.

Dressing room DJ?

I pick the tunes these days, mainly feel-good music, but I try to get different styles and ask people what they want to hear. Nicky Hunt used to do it, but he left last year and, as I had similar tunes to him, I ended up taking it on.

Late for training?

Matt Green, no question. You can count on him being very generous regarding the late fines. His time-keeping is bad. If we are in for ten, he's there for 9.59am but it backfires quite a lot.

Teacher's pet?

Mitch Rose, because of his famous brother, Danny, at Tottenham. He's the pet that the gaffer always looks to nurse. You can see he's got his arm around him all the time, but it's all good banter from the guys.

First on the dance floor?

There are not many rushing up there, to be fair. I imagine Ashley Hemmings would be up there quite quickly though. The rest of us concentrate on standing at the bar if we do manage to go out.

Most likely to disgrace themselves at the Christmas party?

I don't think there's anybody here. We are pretty good and I could not say any one person from what I have seen. We may stay out late, but I have never seen anyone embarrassing themselves.

Worst tattoo?

George Taft did have something on his arm, which was so bad he had it erased. He doesn't really speak about what it was and I haven't had the courage to ask him yet!

Partial to a sunbed?

Nicky Hunt, when he was here, and midfielder Jamie McGuire both like a sun bed. They came in absolutely red as lobsters once last year.

Going to make the best manager?

That's a tough one. Lee Collins has a lot of experience, but I don't think he wants to go into management. Kevan Hurst would be a better bet, with his experience and knowledge of the game. I would have to admit ‘never say never' for myself, but I am definitely concentrating on my goalkeeping at the moment.
