Dack ‘not far away’ from Rovers return says Mowbray

The Blackburn manager is excited to see star midfielder Bradley Dack close to a return.

boss has revealed some that is set to warm every fans heart today, as he confirms that midfielder is close to a return.

The former man has come off the bench in four of Rovers last five games, as he looks to make a full recovery from two hamstring injuries he’s suffered in each of his starts this season.

His game time has steadily increased of late, with Mowbray wary about re-introducing the 23-year-old too soon and risking another setback.

However, he could be set for a return to the starting XI this weekend when Rovers take on leaders at New Meadow tomorrow.

“He broke down twice with a hamstring injury after 60 minutes,” the 53-year-old told the Lancashire Telegraph.

“It is a concern that if you start him he’s going to break down again, but it’s good for Bradley that he’s been coming off the bench.

“He’s not far away now and hopefully somewhere down the line he’s going to get 90 minutes. He’s here to play, to score, and to help the team win matches.

“I see him every day in training, what a talent he is and all the boys can see that, and he has something a little bit extra that can help create and score goals for the football club.”
