loanee John Brayford has said he hasn’t even thought about a return to parent club , and is just concentrating on enjoying his time in the with the .

The 28-year-old, who has established himself in Nigel ‘s defence this season, joined Burton in the summer on a season-long loan, but there have been murmurs of a return to Yorkshire in January.

In October, Sheffield United boss said the had ‘terms in our favour’ regarding the potential recalling of Brayford, but the player himself has no idea about the terms of his move.

“When I signed the deal I didn’t know what the clauses were or anything,” Brayford told the Burton Mail.

“I just signed what I was meant to sign. That’s out of my hands.

“I’m enjoying my time here and obviously Sheffield United had an opinion on me [at the time of the move], and what they needed to do to progress, so it suited both parties.

“What comes in the future I don’t really know to be honest. I haven’t really delved into that because I’ve not been told anything about it since.

“I’ve just tried to get on with my business then if somebody says something other than what I’ve been told I’ll go with that.”

Although he admits that he loved his time at Bramall Lane, Brayford is also happy to say he is loving the experience of playing Championship again, at the club he made his professional debut for almost a decade ago.

The former man said: “I love it, to be honest. It’s brilliant.

“I loved my time at Sheffield United and playing in the Championship is a higher standard, and when you’ve played there for a bit your body adapts. You just take it in your stride.”
