GRAHAM Alexander looks set for an emotional return to former club Preston North End after Bradford “reluctantly” granted their manager permission to speak with the Lilywhites.
Preston sacked Paul Heckingbottom earlier this month after a run of six defeats from the opening seven Championship games left the Lancastrian side in the relegation zone.
A statement released by the Bantams on Thursday confirmed the League One side had been approached by Preston and that Alexander was engaged in talks.
